Hi! I'm Caitlin.
I’m here to capture senior photos that feel so you — bold, real, and anything but basic. Every session is all about your vibe, your style, and your story, so you can show up confident, feel hyped, and leave with photos you’re actually obsessed with.
My mission? Celebrate YOU!
I’m Caitlin — photographer, Florida-born, Idaho-raised, and married to my best friend (courthouse wedding FTW!). I’m part hype girl, part homebody, and I believe in celebrating every season of life — especially the ones that stretch you, grow you, and leave you glowing in more ways than one.
We’ve got the cutest Frenchie named Jango, and our little fam is getting even sweeter with a baby girl arriving in June 2025. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my people, bingeing comfort shows, or sneaking in a good workout. If you’re into Chick-fil-A, cozy nights in, and long walks on sunny days… we’ll get along just fine.

Over the years, I realized this wasn’t just about taking pretty pictures — it was about how those moments made people feel.
A few years (and a lot of golden hour shoots) later, I launched Caitlin Houser Photography and found my true passion in senior photography. I love the connection, the confidence boost, and the way people light up when they see themselves through my lens — bold, beautiful, and 100% themselves.
This isn’t just a job for me — it’s about slowing down, celebrating who you are, and helping you feel seen in a season that deserves to be remembered.

Jango is my velcro dog and occasional star of my IG stories. He’s the perfect mix of sass + stubborn, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love going to new places with my husband! Especially if there is a beach near by!
Fun fact: When I travel, I avoid chain restaurants (…unless it’s Chick-fil-A). I love finding local eateries and trying new foods!

Attended (and graduated) from University of Idaho! Bought my first camera (Canon Rebel t3i) in 2012 and started photography on the side!

In 2017, I attended the AJ Demos workshop in Arizona! Learning from Amy and Jordan Demos was a true game changer for me. They encouraged me to pick a photography niche and build a website! So I did!

AJ Workship
After attending the AJ Workshop, I knew I wanted to photograph senior portraits! So I deep dove in to research and decided to launch my first ever Class of 2018 Senior Spokesmodel team! These ladies will forever hold a special space in my heart!

MY FIRST SPOKESMODEL TEAM!
I came across Hope Taylor Photography, through IG! To know her is to love her! I had the opportunity to learn from her, in person, to really hone in on my senior photography! Attending her workshop in Nashville was a pivotal moment for my business!

HTP Workship
COVID hit, but things didn't slow down! I was working with my biggest Spokesmodel group at the time, but we got creative and found fun ways to interact! It ended up being my biggest year yet for senior portraits!
